MEADOWBANK PARK

Public BBQ

Meadowbank Park is a large sporting and recreational area that has more than 10 playing fields for soccer and cricket, netball and tennis courts, and walking and cycling paths along the Parramatta River. The park also includes a skateboard, scooter, and BMX riding facility with a three-meter deep Olympic-standard competition bowl, dual spine flow bowl, and various obstacles. Other amenities in the park include picnic and shelter facilities, barbecues, a climbing wall, water refill station, playground equipment, parkour and bouldering area and table-tennis court.

You should first check with Ryde council about the rules and restrictions.

Generally, it is permissible to utilize your own gas BBQ, provided it remains under continuous supervision. However, the usage of Charcoal BBQ's is typically restricted, with the exception of parks equipped with designated charcoal disposal bins.
